A native of Vancouver, Dr. Donald Fitzpatrick obtained his MD at the University of British Columbia and has over 20 years of surgical experience. His Plastic Surgery training, also done at UBC, led him to obtain a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada. (In the USA the term used is "Board Certified".)
Dr. Fitzpatrick was awarded the I. Holubitsky Memorial Award and the H.K. Detweiler Travel Fellowship during this time. Postgraduate training was done in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the University of Pennsylvania, in Craniofacial Surgery. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of British Columbia, where he has received the Department of Surgery Merit Award four times, plus the H. Rocke Robertson Award for Outstanding Teaching. He served as an Examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for five years and has held various executive positions with the Plastic Surgery Section of the BC Medical Association.
Dr. Fitzpatrick provides volunteer surgical services with Operation Rainbow Canada, a non-profit organization devoted to sending surgical teams to the third world to operate on children with birth defects.
Summary of Training: our surgeons trained first as a medical doctor, then spent +5 years studying Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has taught medical students, he has trained upcoming surgeons; he has done complex, specialized pediatric facial plastic surgery in a public hospital, where his work is very public. This background provides him with the aesthetic approach and technical skills necessary to provide quality cosmetic plastic surgery.

About Janka Sablova B.A.
Trained in Toronto, Janka is our Clinical Esthetician. You will benefit from her depth of knowledge and interest in skin care and anti-aging.
She works closely with our surgeons to provide advice for patients who don't require surgery, but who are looking for an alternative
approach to their individual skin situations. In addition, she meets with our surgical patients, to provide complimentary products to use
pre-op; she treats postop patients with a complimentary lymphatic drainage (when appropriate) to accelerate the healing process. All
her treatments and advice come with a good dose of laughter and warmth – a definite benefit!
About Daniela Pinca, R.N.
Daniela combines her 10 years of aesthetic nursing skills and CIDESCO-esthetics training to specialize in aesthetic nursing. You will benefit from her base of knowledge
and experience gathered in providing over 12,000 injectable treatments. Her manner is professional and quiet and she provides quality care. You
will be very comfortable with her, and feel confident in her advice and treatments. You can benefit from her aesthetic injectables (Botox,
Restylane, Juviderm) and/or advanced skin care peels and spider (leg) vein treatment.
About Heidi Grimaud, B.H.K.
With a degree in Human Kinetics, and 15 years of experience as a Personal Trainer, Heidi uses a knowledge-based approach to custom
design a fitness program for you. You will benefit from a body stress/posture analysis. You will learn about the individual exercises required
to strengthen your core muscles and to address specific problem areas. You will be able to discuss nutritional aspects of your lifestyle. You will
be encouraged to follow a customized program, and enthusiastically supported along the way.
