Introduction
Cameron Bowman was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. He attended Simon Fraser University for his undergraduate training, and subsequently, the University of British Columbia where he earned his Medical Degree in 1999. His training continued as a Resident in the Division of Plastic Surgery at U.B.C. His main area of interest was surgery of the breast and during this time he published an article and produced a DVD about breast reconstruction following mastectomy.
Dr. Bowman completed his surgical residency in 2004 and subsequently became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He then accepted a fellowship position in Belgium under the mentorship of Professor Stan Monstrey where he undertook sub-specialty training in the unique field of sex reassignment surgery. Dr. Bowman co-authored several publications in this relatively new and advancing field and is currently the only fellowship-trained surgeon doing this work in Western Canada.
Continuing his focus in breast surgery, he then traveled to Michigan, U.S.A. to do further work with Dr. Dennis Hammond, a world leader in surgery of the breast. Here, he sharpened his skills in all aspects of breast surgery which included esthetic and reconstructive procedures.
Following his training, Dr. Bowman accepted a clinical appointment within the Division of Plastic Surgery, U.B.C. where he is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor. He is involved in medical student and Resident teaching and remains active as an invited speaker. Dr. Bowman is past surgical director of the Wound Program for Patients with Spinal Cord Injuries. He continues to work as a reconstructive trauma surgeon and performs breast reconstructive surgery for women who have been afflicted with breast cancer.
In addition, Dr. Bowman remains busy with his esthetic practice which encompasses all areas of cosmetic surgery. He is currently working with Dr. Donald Fitzpatrick to consult with patients and perform facial and body contouring surgery.

About Janka Sablova B.A.
Trained in Toronto, Janka is our Clinical Esthetician. You will benefit from her depth of knowledge and interest in skin care and anti-aging.
She works closely with Dr. Bowman to provide advice for patients who don't require surgery, but who are looking for an alternative
approach to their individual skin situations. In addition, she meets with our surgical patients, to provide complimentary products to use
pre-op; she treats postop patients with a complimentary lymphatic drainage (when appropriate) to accelerate the healing process. All
her treatments and advice come with a good dose of laughter and warmth – a definite benefit!
About Daniela Pinca, R.N.
Daniela combines her 10 years of aesthetic nursing skills and CIDESCO-esthetics training to specialize in aesthetic nursing. You will benefit from her base of knowledge
and experience gathered in providing over 12,000 injectable treatments. Her manner is professional and quiet and she provides quality care. You
will be very comfortable with her, and feel confident in her advice and treatments. You can benefit from her aesthetic injectables (Botox,
Restylane, Juviderm) and/or advanced skin care peels and spider (leg) vein treatment.
About Heidi Grimaud, B.H.K.
With a degree in Human Kinetics, and 15 years of experience as a Personal Trainer, Heidi uses a knowledge-based approach to custom
design a fitness program for you. You will benefit from a body stress/posture analysis. You will learn about the individual exercises required
to strengthen your core muscles and to address specific problem areas. You will be able to discuss nutritional aspects of your lifestyle. You will
be encouraged to follow a customized program, and enthusiastically supported along the way.
