Penile Lengthening
Penile Lengthening is a new technique in Plastic Surgery. It was first performed in China in 1984 on a man, who, as an infant, had his penis bitten off by a dog. The success of this procedure led Dr. Long Daochau to offer the same surgery to adults who are normal, but unhappy with their size. In our office, many of you mention embarrassment and self-consciousness while in the locker room or when with women; you may feel a longer penis would improve your self-esteem and self-confidence. After surgery, patients speak enthusiastically about satisfaction with the results and report a positive sense of feeling "sexier".
The surgery increases the non-erect length of your penis and, to a lesser extent, the erect length. The amount of lengthening averages 2-4 cm (.75 to 1.5 inches) but varies from person to person. It's not possible to know ahead of time how much actual length you will gain after the surgery.

The surgery is done by our surgeons under general anaesthetic. Release of the internal part of your penis is done by dividing a ligament holding it in place. In addition, a muscle technique is used to ensure the long-term effectiveness of the surgery.
After the surgery, you will be able to control any pain with medication, and you will have to pay attention to special instructions in order to keep the extra length gained during the operation. Most men require 1 week off work, but this varies with the job. Sexual activity must be avoided for 3 weeks afterwards, and sports for 6 weeks.
Penile lengthening is real surgery. Before you decide, it's important to learn about any possible complications, even though they are rare. These will be fully explained to you during your private consultation with our surgeons. At that time, you will have an opportunity for a careful and complete discussion of your options and what is involved. You will benefit from asking all your questions and browsing through our photographs.
