The first contact is usually when a patient makes a phone call to our office, and inquires about a specific procedure. We will spend a fair time on the phone with you (that's why our phone line is often busy!), asking you about your situation and trying to answer as many of your questions as possible. We can give you approximate costs, and some details about the procedures. If you are interested, we will send you some written material to review in the privacy of your own home. This literature will help you to be better prepared for a consultation.
The next step is to call us again and arrange an appointment in our office. When you come in for this appointment, you will have an opportunity to look at before and after photographs, view an informational video, and have your private consultation with Dr. Fitzpatrick. It will take approximately an hour from start to finish. We are particularly interested in making sure our patients have a complete understanding of our process. It may be beneficial to bring a companion, who can also ask questions.

After the consultation, some of our patients make an immediate decision to have surgery; others need time to think about it. When you decide to arrange surgery, we will find a time that works for you. You will be given specific instructions regarding pre-op and post-op care and attention, and full details regarding time of arrival and departure. Follow-up appointments vary according to the surgical procedure, and you will be asked to book them in the office. Along the way we are available to give you full support and we encourage your phone calls if you have any questions about your surgery or recovery.
BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS
We have before and after photos in our office, and you'd benefit from coming to have a look at them, ahead of your consultation, if you wish. In the interests of confidentiality and privacy we don't publish them on the internet. The photos in the laser sections are provided by the manufacturer, and are not our patients.
